Viticulture and winemaking in the Font family has passed from father to son for hundreds of years. The combination of tradition and modern technology resulted in internationally awarded wines.
The 38-hectares family estate around Soltvadkert and Bócsa produces exclusively Hungarian varieties of grapes as well as native kinds that have been in the area for hundreds of years: Ezerjó, Kövidinka, Irsai Oliver, Cserszegi Fűszeres, and Kékfrankos, from which rosé and red wines are made. The ingredients of their wines are always high-quality, luscious, assorted, full of the taste of grapes. One of the specialties of Font Winery is Ezerjó Selection, which can only be produced in outstanding vintages, when the September sunshine gilds the grape curls.
Additionally, visitors are welcomed at the winery not only with great wine but also with horse programs and live music.
