Béla Winery’s flagship wine, the late-harvested Nectar, which offers the taste of acacia flower, honey and wide variety of aromas of spices, proves perfectly that quality wine-specialties can be made in the Great Hungarian Plain as well. By tasting the Nectar, the winner of national and international awards, it is easy to understand and verify the slogan of the winery: “a sip of sunlight”.
The nearly 70 hectares property, situated in Imrehegy, features classical varieties such as Irsai Oliver, Cserszegi Fűszeres, Kövidinka, Sarfeher, Tramini, Rheine Riesling, Ezerjó, Pinor Noir and Kékfrankos. The visitors of the winery can also taste sparkling wines made from Irsai Oliver and Pinot Noir type of roses. The guests will not only have an opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable wine experience, but during the season at least, they will be able to see Zoltán Béla’s Iris and Haemerocallis flower collection too.
