A unique sight in the world is the is the cellar village of Hajós that consists of 1200 press houses – in the settlement of 3000 people where almost every family owns at least one cellar. This statement is also true for the Kovács family who built the first wine tourism business in the Great Plain that is run by the second generation of the family now – still based on the love of grapes and wines. Besides the winery and the cellar, there is a venue for 200 people and accommodations to help the promotion of the wines of Hajós. The 35-hectares winery produces mainly Cserszegi Fűszeres, Chardonnay, Italian Riesling, Ister, Castellum, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Kékfrankos and Zweigelt wines. The flagship wine of the house is the Schwabenblut Cuvée, which is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt, symbolizes „Swabian blood” with its fruity, velvety fragrance.
