The Hungarian origin protected grape called Arany Sárfehér is native in the region of Izsák and it is a real speciality of the Great Plain. This wine is pinned on the flag of Gedeon Estate, located on the distinctive periphery of Izsák in the Gedeon Vineyard, where the climatic and soil features give a unique character to the grape cultivated by expert hands and to the wine made out of it. The owner of the 80 hectares estate is Árpád Varga, viticulturist and oenologist, who started his business based on his family experiences and studies in 1999. Their light, fresh, fruity white and rose wines, that are typical in the region, reflects the respect of tradition, meanwhile they also prepare lively sparkling wines and red wines.
Visitors of the winery can combine wine tasting with a lovely trip in the Kiskunsági National Park.
