The Lantos couple founded the craft winery on the grounds of their family estate in Soltvadkert, where everyone finds their own role – Szabolcs, Zsuzsanna and the children: Eszter and Dániel. „We believe in the beauty of the wine region and by staying here, we are able to thank the many gifts we have received from the countryside God gave us” – they say.
The grandfather’s ancient estate of a few acres now has grown into a 20-hectares family winery. In the cellar, along with crispy, lively reductive white wines, roses and sparkling wines, there are both Ezerjó aged in wooden barrels and hot-bodied red wines that are the characteristics and gifts of the soil and landscape of Soltvadkert.
Both the lover of the traditional Hungarian varieties (Kövidinka, Kadarka, Ezerjó, Cserszegi Fűszeres, Kékfrankos) and the lover of world varieties can enjoy their visit to Lantos Winery, where the Wine House and Cellar are able to welcome and cater up to 80 people and where coffee shop and wine shop are also located.
