Quet Winery was founded in 2006 with the lease of a former cooperative winery in Banostor.
The village, located on the banks of the Danube, on the northern slopes of the Tarcal Mountain, is one of the oldest settlements in Vojvodina. The grapes ripen here early and have a sugar content one or two percent higher than other vine-growing regions in Vojvodina thanks to its favorable geographical location, excellent soil quality, microclimate and proximity of the Danube. It currently has 110 hectares of vineyards with predominantly white grape varieties, but red kinds are also present, such as Pinot Noir that is notable on the market.
The winery has a capacity of 300,000 liters of wine a year and also provides location for wine tastings: they are able to welcome up to 50 guests both in the cellar and in the vineyard.
