Vinarija Živanović Winery

Živanovic Winery most likely has the longest tradition of wine production in Sremski Karlovci. The luscious wine is produced, through generations, in a 300 years old wine cellar and today they use a newly added wine cellar as well. The first written documents about the winery mention Teodor Živanović and his successor Josim Živanović, who were successful grape and wine producers and wine merchants during the 18th and 19th centuries thus established the family tradition. The Winery grows Probus, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Neoplanta and Petra on seven hectares and it now offers a modern tasting room with the capacity of over 100 guests.
In addition to the cellar, there is a beekeeping museum that is unique in Serbia and besides wine tastings, the winery is also a great home for concerts and theatrical performances that require less space.
